I made this quilt completely from scraps in my first attempt at selling a quilt. I called it Homespun Stars because it was such a mish-mash of fabrics. This is my second quilt to make from the Lucky Stars pattern by Missouri Quilt Company.
Our homeschool girls basketball team, Red River Lady Rattlers, purchased it from me and raffled it off as a fundraiser. They made over $500 with it! The winner was our local Ag Extension agent. As with any quilt I make, I was sorry to see it go.
You can see the quilt I made for my son, Nathan, from this same pattern HERE and check out my other quilt projects HERE.
Hi! I’m Nicki! Welcome to my blog! I live in Texas with my husband and five children, and a wild assortment of dog, cats, chickens, and ducks. I’m a second-generation homeschooler, a book lover, and history enthusiast. I gush about all of these things on this blog, and I hope to share the love with you!
