Do you homeschool to insulate your children from the world?

I don’t. I mean, it would be nice to completely protect them, but that’s not realistic, is it?

I encounter many parents who think that homeschooling will insulate their children. This is not only untrue, I believe it is unwise. However, we can certainly be deliberate about what our children are exposed to, and when.
