“God blessed them (Adam and Eve) and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Genesis 1:28
Jonathon Porritt, who chairs Great Britain’s Sustainable Development Commission, has decided that in order to prevent Global Warming from becoming any worse, every parent should limit their number of children to two. So why do I care what this guy from Great Britain thinks? Because it is a surprisingly popular belief in this country, too.
Al Gore and the likes are very influential among the non-thinkers, those who get their news from Entertainment Tonight and Oprah, and whose only vote in the last 4 years was for the latest contestant on American Idol. After all, Leonardo DiCaprio must know what he’s talking about, right? He’s a CELEBRITY! And if celebrities can convince us to switch our light bulbs, what else can they convince us to do?
It’s time to think for ourselves. We have to pay attention to what people like Porritt are saying, and stay one step ahead of them. He’s part of the government! And if you think people like that don’t get into U.S. government, think again.
We have just elected a president who showed us in his first days in office how little he values human life. Our taxpayer dollars will once again fund abortions in other countries around the world.
I will say it again. Pay attention America. Don’t let policies fly under the radar. Be aware of what’s going on, pray for wisdom, and take a stand.
